Opportunity for NIA members
The NIA wish you all a Happy New Year! We’re looking forward to 2023 we’re sure it’s set to be a busy year for industry!
Developing capacity and skills within the industry is going to be a key topic in the months ahead, and it will be vital to have a correctly accredited workforce to be compliant with PAS 2030/35. This will provide access to the huge opportunities currently in place with Government schemes such as SHDF, HUG and ECO4.
We are delighted to kick the year off with an opportunity for NIA members to access considerable support for NVQ Certificates in Insulation & Building Treatments.
The NVQ certification will be fully funded (subject to a registration fee of £100 + VAT per NVQ/pathway) as part of the Government’s Home Decarbonisation Skills Training Fund, delivered by Think Construction Skills. The assessment process is aimed at people who are already working or have experience in the industry and are experienced in what they do.
Think Construction are keen to start enrolling learners. Please complete the attached form as soon as possible and return it to susan@thinkconstructionskills.com, who will contact the candidate in January 2023. Please be aware that the candidate has to be working in England and can complete as many NVQs as is needed.
The current deadline for completion of the NVQ, and therefore funding, is end March 2023, with the possibility of an extension. The attached form provides the details required to make payment. Once this is received, Think Construction will send out a paid invoice for received monies.
